I have the Massoth DiMAX and a Massoth Navigator. Using loco no. 3 in STe-PC and after program termination I can't use the loco no. 3 by the Navigator.

Use the newest update 7.0.0022 (07-07-2009). In this version used locos (vehicle announced by PC) are now log out at going back to construction mode or termination.

I have the LGB MTS III Central Unit (55006) and the PC Interface 55060; can I trigger functions greater than F8?

No, sorry! The LGB Central Unit 55006 has in fact a "MTSIII-output", but by this one you can only connect the Massoth Navigator and trigger by it functions > F8. The PC-Interface 55060 has no possibility to transfer functions >F8, therefore Stellwerk easy can't support this unfortunately. If you will use the Massoth DiMAX there are no restriction, because it has an own interface to the PC.

Which program should I use? - Stellwerk 2001 or Stellwerk easy?

Generally you can choose. Both programs will be maintained  and delivered together. I recommend Stellwerk easy version 8.0, but there is a guide-line:

  a) LGB MTS is supported only  by Stellwerk easy.

  b) Very large (H0) track layouts can be better realized for graphic on screen by  Stellwerk 2001, but not very often.

  c) Who is working well at this time with Stellwerk 2001 and don't want go away from Windows 98, should stay at  Stellwerk 2001.

  d) Not all functions are integrated in Stellwerk 2001, some only in Stellwerk easy.

Is it possible to use my old track layout of  Stellwerk 2001 or of MTS-PC in Stellwerk easy?

Yes, there is an import function in Stellwerk easy for:

  a)  STW2001 and for

  b)  MTS-PC track layouts.

MTS-PC track layouts will be converted without manually changes normally. The contact numbers (a/b/v) are changed to real numeric numbers.

You have to do some changes manually  after conversion of  STW2001 track layouts, because e.g. nearer tracks in screen, but definitions of e.g. magnetic articles, contacts etc. will be right.

Can I use the LGB MTS-Interface or the MTS-Programming-Interfaces  for STELLWERK 2001?

No, but you  use Stellwerk easy instead of MTS-PC and so connect your LGB Interfaces  (55060 or 55045.

Is starting of  Stellwerk 2001 and Stellwerk easy also possible with Windows Vista?

Generally yes. You should install Stellwerk 2001 in folder C:\STW2001 and not to C:\Programme or C:\Program Files. Take not any notice  of "unproved" software installation information.

Stellwerk easy has a newer installation software as STW2001 and will be installed to C:\STe-PC automatically.

Can I use Stellwerk 2001 for the Massoth DiMAX ?

Yes, if you have the Massoth DiMAX 600Z and/or 1200Z with newest software status, you can use Stellwerk (Version 11.0) directly by DiMAX  COM-port. Version 11.0 is available. Contacts (55070/55075) are supported by Massoth Transducer 600A and LGB numbers must be converted to new STW2001 numbers. Massoth Feedback Modules 8170001 can be connected to the Massoth Bus directly. You have same, nearly identical function as MTS-PC!

Which Systems are supported also by Stellwerk 2001 Version 11.0?

   1. Massoth DiMAX 600Z and 1200Z

   2. Lenz Digital plus System with all Lenz Interfaces (COM and USB),

   3. Uhlenbrock Intellibox using Märklin mode and the extended (P50X) mode,

   4. Fleischmann TWIN-CENTER using Märklin mode and the extended (P50X) mode,

   5. Tams EasyControl using Märklin mode and the extended (P50X) mode (by COM and USB),

   6. Old Märklin(6050) / Arnold System,

Is it possible to use STELLWERK 2001 or Stellwerk easy for the new Märklin Systems (60212) also?

Sorry no, because the integrated Interface of 60212 is not yet free usable and it is not decided by Märklin to build an own program or to public the transfer code for external programmers. It will be possible to connect old System (6021) with new Märklin Systems (60212) by a planned  adapter and use so the old Interface, but there is no access to new features of Märklin Systems. I think, it's not practically. Furthermore contacts can only be connected with S88 feedback modules and the not yet delivered new booster. I think, one year will pass until Märklin will have real solutions and/or  to get clear about it!
